Process Operation Simulators

The Process Operator Simulator is an essential decision making tool for studying the numerous operation parameters of a Plant, to predict their impact on the Plant performance - more specifically on products’ yield and quality – and to forecast optimum monitoring as a function of feedstock and process severity.

At the same time, the Plant staff acquires a deeper understanding of the process so that to improve Plant reliability and performances.

POS are thus a cost effective way:

  • to give a better prediction regarding weekly/monthly schedules, forecasts, yields, energy consumption,
  • to optimize Process Operations while ensuring safe and economical operation,
  • to improve Plant performance (lower energy use, defining optimum operation) via analysis of further operations and operating options or revamping studies,
  • to make strategic and operational decisions.

The POS takes advantage of the integration of specific reactor models and proprietary kinetic data.
